The best candidates for this treatment are those who have mild to moderate skin laxity, and do not require any muscle or fat modification. Thermage® patients typically range between 30 and 70 years old. These individuals should also have realistic expectations and goals. Thermage® treatment is not a permanent skin tightening treatment; however, results last anywhere between one and two years after the first treatment. Additional treatment sessions will be necessary in order to maintain results. Depending on the size of the target area(s), a Thermage® treatment generally takes about 30 minutes to an hour.
