Orange County Fraxel expert Thomas Powers, M.D. at Diva Aesthetics Medical Group has special training on the Fraxel laser, an FDA approved, non-invasive device for improving skin that is marred or flawed.

Fraxel is different than other lasers. The Fraxel splits the laser beam into thousands of microscopic dots that lead to smooth and improved skin. One complete treatment involves three to five sessions so all the skin is eventually covered.

Before now, the other leading types of laser treatments for skin either vaporized the outer layer of skin at a very high temperature or just didn't make much of a difference.
