It's all good news: Dr. Borko Djordjevic (pronounced Jor-ja-vik) His professional philosophy is also unchanged, and all too rare: Djordjevic believes in treating the complete patient - medically, psychologically and aesthetically.

Dr. Djordjevic has always been at the forefront of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery's latest advances. With offices in Huntington Beach, Laguna Hills and Anaheim Hills he is also very aware of the enhancement desires of Southern Californians.

Djordjevic believes in the importance of interpersonal skills to properly communicate with and understand his patients. "The patient's underlying motivation must be considered before surgery." explains the doctor. "for instance, if an individual has experienced a loss in the family, such as a wife's losing her husband, she is searching for a way to feel better. But the procedure, no matter how successful, won't fix the real source of her distress," states a concerned Djordjevic. "Once she comes to terms with the loss though, the surgery can have a very positive effect."
Dr. Djordjevic's techniques have been honed to perfection. After recently spending four years in his native Yugoslavia helping wounded war victims and operating under the most primitive conditions, his touch became even more sensitive. Working in a crisis atmosphere, with much at stake, his dexterity and ingenuity were stretched to the limit. As a result, he accomplished more in less time and shortened the recovery period.

Djordjevic specializes in general plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery including face-lifts, chemical peels, breast augmentation and reduction, leg hip and abdominal reductions and reshaping, liposuction, and laser resurfacing. The doctor performs inpatient procedures with the assistance of an experienced surgical team (consisting of an anesthesiologist and highly qualified nurses) at the state-licensed Diva Medical Center.

Dr. Djordjevic is a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS).
